Who we are

Szia! (Hello!) And welcome to Budapest Crêpes. My name is Tünde, and I’m behind our family’s crêperie.

I’m originally from Hungary, where making crêpes, or palacsinta, as we call them, is a well-loved tradition. For over 20 years, I’ve enjoyed making this thin, delicious treat for family and friends, using recipes that have been shared in my family for generations. Now, I’m happy to share those same recipes with our community here in Palmer.

Our family moved to Alaska in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the state. The mountains, the fresh air, and the natural beauty made it feel like home right away.

At the same time, we missed many of the traditional European foods we grew up with, especially the flavors of Hungary. That’s what inspired us to start Budapest Crêpes, to bring a taste of our home country to the Mat-Su Valley.

At Budapest Crêpes, we serve traditional Hungarian-style crêpes, both sweet and savory, made with care and quality ingredients. We hope you enjoy them as much as our family has over the years.
