Szia! (Hello!) And welcome to Budapest Crêpes. My name is Tünde, and I’m the heart and hands behind our family’s crêperie.

I'm originally from Hungary, where the art of making the perfect crêpe (we call it palacsinta) is a cherished tradition. For more than two decades, my greatest joy has been making these thin, delicious treats for my family and friends, perfecting recipes passed down through generations. Now, I am thrilled to share a piece of my heritage with our wonderful community here in Palmer.

Our family's journey brought us to the stunning landscapes of Alaska in 2017. We were immediately captivated by the crisp, clean air, the towering mountains, and the rugged beauty that makes Alaska so special. We had found our new home.

Still, a part of our hearts longed for the flavors of our old one. We deeply missed the authentic tastes of Europe, and specifically, the comforting and delicious foods of Hungary. That longing sparked an idea: Why not bring the flavors we miss to the place we love?

Budapest Crêpes is our dream come true. It’s our way of connecting our past with our present, sharing traditional Hungarian recipes made with love in the heart of the Mat-Su Valley. Whether you’re craving something sweet or savory, we hope every bite brings you the same comfort and happiness it has brought our family for years.
